Chapters is my oasis/utopia to escape from the rush - especially in such busy city like Toronto. I go here at least once a week to explore the store's huge selection of books, knick knacks and accessories, usually while indulging in a Starbucks drink. Although I'm not much of a magazine reader, one of my favourite sections are the (huge) international photo magazines. Simply, Chapters brings a calmness to my life and shopping experience that most stores do not offer. The employees are friendly without being pushy... which is super important.

You'll find everything here, from mugs to houseware to kitchenware to lots and lots of books. I think we've all fell victim to the POS stands by checkout that are filled with unique pens, emoji stickers, hair massagers... and it's pretty darn awesome.

i love chapters, thats my happy place!! This location is great, not too far from where I live, so i go there pretty often.

This is for Chapters in general, not this specific location however. I LOVE chapters. I am a huge reader, my guilty pleasures are celebrity biographies. What I love about Chapters is the atomosphere. I can get my Starbucks, find a good book or magazine and find my way over to a comfy chair and relax while reading for a couple hours.

I find the prices are average. They're more expensive then some places, however I will spend that extra 2 dollars to be able to sit and enjoy myself reading a magazine first. They have a great selection also. They sell everybook you'll ever want to read.

This is a general review for Chapters not the Runnymede location. I am a big reader and I always buy my books here. They have a great selection and helpful staff. It has a nice quiet peaceful atmosphere too. At my location there is a starbucks in it which is bonus as well!. At chapters.ca they have free shipping on orders over 39CAD too if you would rather shop online.

Am an avid reader, and love books. I make an effort to support local book stores and buy books, as authors are struggling with the online generation.
However, I had a horrible exprience with manager Lynn at this Chapters location, which prompted me to write a letter to the company, and send a copy to the Runnymede location.

In a time when consumers are the driving force of success, here is an example of a driven away sale - I will no longer visit this Chapters location as a direct result of my treatment by this manager.
