I went for brunch at Cora and maybe my expectations were a little bit too high because I was disappointed. Not that the food, service, atmosphere were particularly bad, they just weren't up to par with what I expected or wanted.
I had fresh fruit crepes with nutella (yum!) only the fresh fruit was actually frozen fruit- and it was summer, meaning strawberries were in season! Cora has an image of home cooked, fresh meals and being a Canadian company from Quebec, I expected some good Quebecois, french crepes but they were kind of lack luster. I would go to Coras again, and the patio at the Blue Jays Way location is pretty nice, but for the price, you can find better food.
The people here are very nice.. its located along the main street but it was a beautiful view, the atmosphere is amazing and the customer service is out of this world
We go to Cora's for breakfast about once a month as a special treat. Cora' s is a bit pricey but they offer an extensive breakfast and lunch menu that is a refreshing alternative to the usual bacon and eggs. This restaurant has a French Canadian feel reflected in the decor and in the very french dishes that are offered. My husband and I often order the raspberry crepe and the chocolate banana crepe and then share! Fresh fruit is a featured item, the warm brioche french toast is amazingly comforting! Service is consistently good as well. Bon appetite!
Its a little expensive for breafast/brunch, but well worth it. Presentation is fantastic, service is quick, and food is hot.
Great place for a work lunch.
