i live in cape breton n i use the store in glace bay alot n im sorry to say but there is only a few ppl there who are nice and i asked some one there once why ever one seem to hate there job n she told me it was cuz there boss was very mean i know a few ppl now that have left the store becuz of this man n dirty it needs a good washing n there alot of stuff with to tag on them so u think there only a $1 n u get up to the class and there $3 wish the other store wasnt 30 mins away

I love Dollarama!! The store has a vast amount of merchandise that they keep adding to and increasing (e.g., I just found Pantene products at Dollarama!). They have excellent prices for household cleaning supplies, teaching resources and candy!

However, THE CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sales associates are rude, unfriendly and uninformed of the store's product selection AND product location in their stores. They have no database to refer to on their computers to determine whether a product is in the store or in any other Dollarama (which begs the question of how they properly keep track of their inventory, even for tax purposes).

Would recommend the store for the product selection, merchandise, BUT NOT THE SERVICE!!!!

We have two Dollarama stores in Charlottetown. I staff that work at the store at the mall should not be dealing with the public as they are the most unfriendly staff I have ever met. 9 times out of 10 you are not greeted with a hello or a thank you when you go to the cash. I always check my bill because I am usually overcharged. The other store I prefer to do my shopping at. The majority of the staff are friendly. You do not feel like you are putting them out when you ask for help. Both stores need to do better pricing. I find alot of items do not have a price on them so you think they are a dollar but they come up more for more at the register. I like the Dollarama for picking up treats for holidays.

you have to check very well what you buy is in good conditions, no customer service at all. Very bad options to pay.

Great store when you need stuff for birthday parties, seasonal decorations, greeting cards, and office or school supplies. I love going there every week to see the new items they bring in that were formerly featured in a TV infomercial ad. Great prices, great selection, and clean stores. Always an interesting experience whenever I shop there.

Dollarama is the best. They literally have everything you need in a one stop shop. Im happy about the up to $3 now because it's better quality. I don't have to make SEVERAL trips to get a few things.

The product maybe cheap but the fun of taking $20. in and getting a bag of stuff so much fun.

great variety of goods - staff are helpful - dollar items are getting fewer - other similar type stores jacked up their basic price to $1.25 for every item but Dollarama now has items up to $3 which I don't like.

I love going to this store for the little items you need around the house without having to pay alot of money for them. DOWNSIDE. Everytime I go to a dollarama I have to wait in a line forever. Their check in counters are to cluttered as well to tight of a space!
