My family and I are great fans of Dollarama. We find many household and kitchen items that would otherwise be much more expensive elsewhere. It's all a great place to shop with kids for affordable scoop supplies, toys and art supplies. I also frequent Dollarama for purchasing gift bags and cards for all occasions. I wouldn't necessarily get food there but everything else they sell is decent and of course reasonably priced. It's also a great place to pick up items for birthday loot bags, stocking suffers and party decorations.
dollarama is always there for the stupid things that you need, and, sometimes not so stupid. you really have to go to different ones and regularly because they sometimes get stupid good deals that they only get one shipment of so you have to get them right away. it is my go to place to get party supplies, cards, some toiletries and everything in between
You'd be surprised the number of things you can purchase at the dollar store these days. Dollarama has come along way with their range of products. I always leave with more things then I intended to buy, but with that great price why not!
They just started accepting visa tap and master card which is great if you don't like to carry cash. They have a good selection of items and surprisingly good quality kitchen tools by betty crocker. Sometimes other stores will sell their excess to dollarama and it's not uncommon for me to see essie or Nicole by OPI nail polish there, or other name brand cleaning products.
I like stopping in Dollarama from time to time, either to buy something or browse around. Sometimes I find stuff there that I didn't even know Dollarama would even sell. Great place to buy seasonal items months in advance! I like going there for home/kitchen goods - mainly storage desk organizers and plates.
I like Dollarama. I like the fact that you can find a lot of inexpensive items in one place.
I don't like that, in spite of being a Canadian company, they chose to import a lot of their goods. Given the plunge our economy is taking, it's more important than ever for us to be responsible customers and choose products that buy jobs for our unemployed youth. Given my low household income, of course I'll still buy products at Dollarama--I'm just much more likely to doublecheck to see if I can't find similar items at the thrift store if they don't have anything in the product I'm looking for that's sourced domestically.
Not the best dollar store I've ever been to, but still great prices for the area, at least here in Montreal! Selection is pretty good but gets stale after a while, not as big as other dollar stores I've seen in the States. Lots of name brand and own brand products, range from 1 to 3 dollars! Love it, but room for improvement!
Well you can't beat the prices(except at Dollar Tree) but the isles are always full of boxes so it makes getting around hard to do, and there never seems to be anyone around to ask questions to, but when you do talk to staff they are friendly but not very knowledgeable.
This is the best dollar store I have ever come across. Not only do they have all of their products for under $3, most of their things are actually name brand! I thankfully have two close to my house and absolutely love it. I remember when one of the stores first opened, they had the Shake Weight for $3. I didn't buy it, but I found it funny how it would normally cost around $20 if you bought it directly from the creators. They usually will have perfumes there too. All of them are copycat brands, but they smell really good and have large bottles. I ended up buying one and it is actually my favourite perfume I own. You can also get clothes there. I know most people would prefer name brand clothes, but the dollar store clothes would be great for tie dye or for making a Halloween costume. I love this store and would definitely be going back.
i love this store!!! If you need to find something for our household. I recommend checking this place out first. They have everything from bathroom supplies to kitchen to party supplies. I have even found some name brand canned foods that were more affordable at dollarama rather the grocery store
