Eccotique East at Metrotown was an excellent experience. I was pleasantly surprised as I thought it would be noisy and chaotic being located inside a busy mall.

Upon arrival, my technician guided me into the back area where they offer the treatment. The salon was clean and very modern with their décor and setup. The technician was wonderful in all aspects. She helped me choose a colour, she was friendly and took the time to get to know me an my preferences.

I would definitely recommend the salon to a friend and will definitely be back!

I was one of the lucky ones to get chosen for a manicure at a salon using Shellac. It was my first time getting a professional manicure and I was so excited and pleased with the experience. First Ashley shaped my nails, then she pushed back and cut my cuticles. Then she applied a basecoat, colour, and top coat. In between the coats, my hands were placed under a machine with blue light. The nail polish did not smell and it dried instantly under the machine. In the end, I was given a hand massage. I never knew how great manicures are. I am excited to go back! It's been almost two weeks and my nails are still looking good with no chipping. I will update my post once I try the CND Shellac removal kit. I would definitely get my nails done again.

The location is actually really cool, there is a retail area and the nail bar was actually in a different room away from prying mall rat eyes. I was offered a selection of beverages, I politely declined, but the offer was nice. The nail tech I had was Kelsey! She was great! We talked a lot and she was both friendly and professional. She seemed very skilled and left my awful nurse hands/nails looking great. I think the prices at this salon are way too expensive for me to consider coming here again, but for anyone who has it in their budget - Kelsey is great for your nail needs.

I was selected to receive a free Shellac manicure courtesy of ChickAdvisor, I chose Eccotique East as my preferred Spa location and headed in for my appointment today. From the start - just booking my appointment over the phone the staff was courteous, warm and really had me looking forward to my appointment! I had to bring my 4 year old daughter with me and was so impressed at how warmly Chelsea and Shelby welcomed her, asking her tons of questions and making her warm up right away! I decided that since we were already there, I would get a mommy & me appointment and Shelby started working on Alivia's nails. The end result was a pretty spectacular orange and black for Halloween and Alivia was thrilled! Next was my nails - Shelby was MORE then accommodating when I kept flipping back and forth on my colour choices, she helped me pick complementary accent colours, and made my "mom" nails look AMAZING. Seriously, I can't stop looking at them! The Spa is wonderfully decorated and calming, and I am already planning my next trip back.
