The ambiance is great. It is cozy, they have tequila bottles everywhere and it feels like an authentic Mexican restaurant. The service was very good and there was a lot of Spanish speaking people, which made it feel more authentic. I can't stand tourist traps and Old Town is surrounded by cheesy tourist souvenir shops and cheap looking Cantinas, which we were happy to avoid.

Luckily we found this restaurant, which is cozy and authentic, with food that is home made. It is pretty good, but not amazing. However, I am not that familiar with Mexican food and it could just be my palette. My chicken was a little bit overcooked and the sauces for the Mole were good and really interesting, but not over the top in my opinion. It is also a bit pricey. Entres are about $20 - $35 each. 4 of us ate for just over $100 which is not bad. The ambiance is really cozy and I would come back here again for a drink or to try something else.

I recommend this for friends or a cozy date.
