There is an Elephant & Castle in the Rideau Centre, Ottawa. I agree that the atmosphere is a little different, but still enjoyable. My sister and I went once, and the prices were fair, the food was pretty good, and the service (for Ottawa) was really good. I would go again, but the only trouble we really had was finding the washrooms, lol! It's a place to go at least once, just to see if it's your kind of place, you know? I personally will go again, I just don't know when. It's not a place that you say "OMG! I have to eat here every night!", but it's still good after a day of shopping/working/whatever.

Well, maybe it's that I don't like British food. I was underwhelmed by the taste and presentation both times I have eaten at this establishment. However, the price is good and it does offer a decent range of what I understand to be authentic British food. The decor is interesting and it's located in the heart of downtown Winnipeg near the Convention Centre. Do I recommend it? Not really, but it is more interesting than your typical Moxie's restaurant. I think there's room for improvement.
