After reading the reviews, I decided to try out this spa for a mani & pedi. The esthetician was really nice and gentle. However, my only complaint was with sanitary procedures of the spa. The tools used for the pedi & mani looked a bit rusty. And the nail files and foot scrubber are reused. The foot cream was taken straight out of the jar even though the esthetician had been rubbing my foot with her hands. I haven't had any itchiness or infections, so, it probably isn't a huge problem. But, for the price of $30/mani & $60/ pedi, I'd expect more rigorous sanitary practices.

I had Elizabeth for my pedicure too, and by far the best pedicure I have ever had. I have VERY ticklish feet and she was very good about not torturing me. I did have a facial once though that I wasn't crazy about. I do have very sensitive and allergic skin so that is not their fault but I did tell them about it. The lady I had for the facial couldn't finish the extraction because I was bruising. I wish that would have stopped quicker than it did. And the cream afterwards was so oily and heavy I tried wiping it off before I left. Maybe I need to try another type of facial...I love their emails advertising deals though, definitely give this one a try!

I recently discovered Elixir spa and I am enthralled with it! First of all, I am trying to get rid of as many toxins and chemicals in my daily routine as possible, and this spa is COMPLETELY NATURAL AND ORGANIC! Amazing! They offer a wide range of services, the spa has great ambiance, and the staff are friendly. One of my favourite features of Elixir, is their mailing list. If you sign up, about once a month they send out an email detailing a special promotion that is often offered exclusively to clients on the list! And the deals are good: special bundles, 50% off...! Lynn, the owner, is very approachable -drop in or send her an email saying you're interested in trying out the spa and see what she has to offer.
