Will not go back
I joined fit 4 less basically to save money. My boyfriend and I just purchased our first home and I didn't want to spend a ton of money on a Goodlife gym membership. I joined last June and it cost just under $200. It had the basics of what I would need but eventually I just got tired of the limited equipment. Most of the staff who worked at the location I went to were great they were extremely nice and helpful. Unfortunately, after 9 months I decided to sign up with Goodlife again. They have better equipment as well as a wider selection. I like how there is WiFi is all the gyms as well. I am a huge March madness fan and being able to fit in games at the gym is super convenient. My biggest issues with fit 4 less (and trust me I know you get what you paid for)
1) absolutely no water fountains at the location. I noticed this after I joined and just thought it was wild a gym didn't have 1 single water fountain. If I forgot water I'd have to stop at a store or wait until I got home. They sold drinks there one issue with that was I rarely carry cash on me.
2) the treadmills there would shake if I ran on them. They were fine for walking or walking on an incline.
3) they did not have an adequate stairmaster. They had 2 small ones where you ended up having sore feet after the work out rather than feeling any type of burn in your butt/legs
4) did not have mens/females change rooms. Just 2 individual change rooms
5) they only had 6 real spin bikes. The virtual program they had with the spin bikes didn't actually work either.
It was a good solution for the time as we had just spent a ton of money on expected and unexpected costs of owning your first home but I won't be going back.
Not a fan of the Fit4Less gyms.
The thing that got me interested was the tanning aspect.
I don't tan anymore so the appeal was gone for me.
The staff didn't seem all that friendly. The facility was not vey clean.
The bathrooms were the worst.
The equipment was decent but always so busy.
The change rooms were just cubbies along the wall.
I found it awkward that there wasn't an actual room for
lockers. They were just on the free walls. The cardio
equipment faced the lockers and change rooms. It felt
like people were watching you.
Won't use this facility again!
I have been a member at Fit4Less for 5 years now. It is a small gym that is a part of goodlife fitness. They have a variety of machines both for cardio and weight lifting. They also have tanning beds and massage chairs. For the 20 dollar a month membership you get unlimited tanning, massages and you can go to any of their locations. You can also get the basic membership for 10 bucks a month. It is a place for all ages, all sizes and the staff is so friendly and helpful. I strongly recommend it.
