You can't beat the price! I was a member at the Parkway Mall location and now am with Malvern. I've read so many bad reviews about Fitness One in general and I also had two friends who weren't too happy with them but personally I have no complaints. The Parkway Mall location is a bit small and a lot of the machines were broken and hardly ever repaired but you get what you pay for. The Malvern location - I've been going there for almost a month and I love it there. I love how big it is, the availability of the machines and for being a member for less than a month I've already seen a few machines (broken) get fixed/replaced already. Yeah the washroom and change room is kind of dingy but whatever. As for those people complaining about getting ripped off - there is an option to pay for a year upfront. When I signed up with Malvern I was lucky. There was a promotion and I also had the option to pay for a year upfront which ended up being about $256 or so - $19/month! Yeah maybe a lot of people can't fork over the cash/lump sum but I was also weary about the messed up payments that other people have been posting about and I didn't' want to experience that - so paying the lump sum it was. Anyways - I'm a very happy customer and recommend this place (well Malvern at least) for those that are trying to save money and want a decent gym and equipment.
