As a Texan, I've known about Freddy's Frozen Custard for quite a while. When I moved to the Carolina's, I was thrilled to learn that the franchise had expanded and one was being built a mile from my doorstep!
You know a franchise is good when you can cross the country and get that same great quality comfort food and Freddy's definitely has continuity in that area. Their burgers and fries are savory, buttery, deliciousness. Their custard, shakes, and concrete are the perfect smooth custard consistency without being overly sweet so you can actually finish your treat without getting a toothache. Oh yeah, one more thing...Cheese Curds. Forever, cheese curds.
