77% OF CHICKS DIG IT
1 out of 3 of my Holy Grail Stores
One of the 3 stores in which I purchase clothes from on the regular. Honestly, the best quality. I have tops that I have worn for several years that still look great. Sizing is mostly true to size. I especially love their tops. Jeans are super comfortable as well. They always have sales on, so it is super easy to find something for a decent price. Have shopped online and in store in the past. Both are reputable, and great, with many options! Ladies in store are really helpful with giving recommendations.
Terrible shopping experience
Ordered online on Black Friday expecting there to be slight shipping delays, but I did not expect Garage to lose my package and take more than a month to deliver. Their customer service is unreliable, they did not respond to any emails I sent. I had to go in store to receive any kind of help and still have not received my clothes.
Specialty sizes, inviting decor. great quality
While I agree with others that it can be intimidating to have sales associates immediately in your face upon entrance, I usually order online anyway because their specialty sizes are hard to find in-store. However, I do enjoy the in-store experience too; the decor is very inviting with the low lighting and comfortable furniture, and their change rooms are always amble and equipped with private mirrors.
Since this store began carrying XXS, it has quickly became one of my favorites. The quality has never disappointed me, the sales discounts can be total steals, and their website offers free shipping over a reasonable threshold or free shipping to a store.
A Good Brand Gone Bad
Every top in this store seemed to be a crop top that is low quality and way overpriced. The sales girls are way to pushy with little common sense. My daughter and I were in there and a sales associate asked us if we needed help we said no. Then she proceeded to ask more questions stating that she could help she asked what we were looking for and I answered tops for school. She said ok she will be back with what she believes would be perfect. She had selected the skimpiest top in the store saying that it's the perfect top for school. The top would have been more appropriate for the beach and more suitable for someone who is older. We left the store with nothing. Garage is a store of the past all they sell is over priced garbage.
Good quality
Garage is a good place to get clothing. The clothing is somewhat pricey but worth it in the end with the quality making up for the high price. Their clothes are comfy and fun to wear.
Garage is Back!
I haven't shopped at Garage clothing in quite a few years. They used to be my top choice for comfy clothing but the quality seemed to have gone down and I switched to Aritizia.
BUT I have to ssay they are back! if you haven't checked out one in a while I highly recommend it!
First thing I've noticed they've now opened their sizing to XL and XXS so if previously you couldn't wear them there is a bit more of a range. I am generally a L in most stores (i'm about a 12 in pants if that helps) and L fits me great in everything I bought. SO I would say most of their clothing runs pretty true to size.
The second thing I loved is a lot of their newer leggings have the PERFECT waistband. The thicker one goes up close to your natural waist with thin elastic that isn't squeezing you to death. They also are thick enough you can't see through them and are nicely sewn with reinforced stitch. My thunder thighs are thanking them. They have many styles my favs were the ones with the lace up on the side and the velvet ones (great for winter ad 90s vibes).
Finally, the absolute best part of this is how cheap it is! Got 4 pairs of leggings and a sweater for about 70 dollars before taxes! They had a sale buy 1 leggings get the second 50% off and then they also gave me an additional 10% for signing up on their app! (i think there is a deal online similar too)
Great deals and I will definitely be back for more in the future!
Expensive for cheaply made clothing
Everything in the store is like thirty dollars and will only last a month. Everything shrinks in the wash and only fits very skinny girls. I'm not overweight and I'm a large there if I'm lucky
I have loved garage since my younger teen years and now probably more than ever. They always stay on top of trends and have some of the best crop tops and flannel shirts available at that price point.
Carlingwood location has a great staff too, very helpful!
I USED TO LOVE THIS PLACE BUT IT IS NOT WHAT IT USED TO BE. QUALITY HAS GONE DOWN AND THEY NO LONGER MAKE THE NICE LONG TANKS THAT I LOVED, EVERYTHING IS SUPER SHIRT AND CROP TOP LIKE
I really don't like Garage clothing. Cheaply made and looks cheap. It's as if they have the same repertoire clothes from ten years ago.
