Good quality
Garage is a good place to get clothing. The clothing is somewhat pricey but worth it in the end with the quality making up for the high price. Their clothes are comfy and fun to wear.
I like their stores, layout and selection. Especially their sales section - I can always find something i like and need.
I used to shop at Garage A LOT when I was a teenager, it was one of my favorite stores. I find it's very trendy and aimed more at tweens/teens so I don't do much shopping there anymore. It's still great for basics like tank tops and jeans though, and I even find the occasional bag that I like.
I don't live in Ottawa but where I live I found the service is bad, they are pretty rude and look at everyone like they would steal even though it's in a huge mall and have a ton of security.
I've bought a few things there before, I found them items alright. Some prices though are a bit expensive. What do you think, have you been there?
Though most of what they carry is geared to teenagers and very young adults. You can still find a few scarves and little accessories for older folks. All in all good store.
Garage is great, the clothing is very trendy but the quality is okay. You can get some good deals here, some things are really cheap... but somethings like a couple pair of jeans and sweaters are like 40$, but they do have nice sales/deals. I'd recommend shopping online here because there are more deals online, for example, they always have a 25% off or 30% off, but it's never available in-store!
I do like this store. But over the years, I find the clothing I have from there looks similar. O_O Maybe it's just me and maybe because I haven't gone there for a while to check out new stuff. It seems like what I have is solid colours (some prints) within the same ranges for each type or shirt/blouse/sweater that I have from there.
But the store is good for the price.
Anyone in Ontario near Cambridge may find themselves in the factory outlet there. You can get shirts and sweaters for 5-10 and a nice pair of jeans for 15 or less if you're one of those odd sizes. Just thought that it would be a good tidbit for people to know.
If you are a Garage lover you must go to Niagara Outlets if you get a chance. They have a Garage outlet store there and everything is from 5 - 20 dollars. I got a pair of nice black work pants there for $10 and a zip up sweater for $5!
I'll admit to peeking into this store on occasion to see what is new and what is now on sale. They have really good sale prices, and it always feels like they are having one every time I walk in. I like picking up cheap basics here like tees and lightweight throw over stuff. Simple, cheap, and effective. I just wish that the jeans would come in a larger size than anorexic lol. Sorry, but I have a butt, and it doesn't fit into these jeans. Yoga pants yes, jeans no. Strange how things work like that.
Basically, I like this place mostly for cheap inexpensive tops.
