You can always count on a great meal at the gateway. The menu offers offers so many great choices that it's hard to pick just one dish. Their daily specials menu is also quite extensive, and their deserts are out of this world. The bread and oil is made fresh and served hot, and substitutions are no problem.
They offer musical entertainment, keno, and a trivia night. There is a large full service bar and 1/2 price apps during "happy hour". They also offer, heated, year-round, deck seating, overlooking the picturesque, Weweantic River.
The staff is friendly, professional, and most have been there forever. I really look forward to eating at the gateway. Expect to wait, as this is a popular place.
