My fiance and I recently visited Toronto while I was there for work (if you've read any of my reviews, I'm from Orlando). On the last night, we decided to go have dinner in Little Italy. Being the brilliant tour guide that I am, I looked at the map and figured that it couldn't be that far from our hotel. I put on a pair of heels, and we started walking. By the time we got to College Street (the direct route to Little Italy), I noticed that the building numbers were somewhere in the 100s. The restaurant we were going to was at 637 College Street, which means that it was REALLY far. By the time we got to the restaurant, Giovanna Trattoria, we were starving, and there was a 10 minute wait. The place was swamped. We finally got a table in a room that only had one server, and ended up waiting about 45 minutes for the food. We weren't even hungry anymore. When the food came, Pete's veal was more like hamburger, and my pasta thing (that isn't listed on the website and looked like baked spaghetti) was disgusting. The server was rude, they did not apologize for the food taking so long, and we ended up just asking for the check and leaving. Also, wine was expensive. The only wine you could buy by the glass was the cheap house wine, and everything else was by the bottle.
