100% OF CHICKS DIG IT
This store is all about the details! Want a sweater with an extra little something... then this is the store for you. A bit pricy though, so make sure to ditch lattes for a few weeks and then head on over to something special at Girl Friday. There is a sweater I still have my eye on over there!
This was my first time to the College location and I was a little disappointed with the selections. The Queen St. store is bigger and has more items in it.
That said, I love their clothes though! They carry wardrobe staples, trendy items, great jackets and really nice bags. The sales girls are always very helpful! It's a very nice boutique store to browse around.
I love the Queen Street location! The College St Girl Friday is also fantastic!!! They always have hip, trendy and very unique items in their stores. Despite being very busy (Shop Crawl 4), the staff at the College location were very helpful and accommodating. They were eager to offer advice and make suggestions, but not annoyingly so, as some store clerks can be! They even called the Queen St location to ask if they had a size I needed! I always find things that I love in Girl Friday! This time I picked up a great clutch purse and an awesome bracelet!
I will be visiting Girl Friday again Soon! :)
This is an amazing store, it's got great clothing that actually is made by women for women so everything fits just so. Also they have the most amazing clutches, I myself bought a mustard yellow leather one for only 85! It's beautiful, and I use it most weekends when I'm out - say good bye to purses the clutch has made the spot light!
This shop had some really great stuff! In particular, their winter coats! They were very pricey but definately worth it if you have the money to spend.
I bought a fabulous little black purse, it's so useful and cute. I thought the clothes were a litle on the expensive side, but very good quality. If they have a sale, I am there! I thought the selection was somewhat limited for larger girls, they had many smalls and extra smalls but not too many bigger sizes.
I love Girl Friday. Both locations are fantastic and have everything from cute little Soia & Kyo coats to Dish Denim, Girl Friday dresses, sweaters, pants, shoes, bags and other accessories.
I own a number of things from Girl Friday. Owner/Designer, Rebecca Nixon makes a line of simple chic dresses that could be worn for anything from a wedding to an office party or a night out. I wish they came in some smaller sizes, because even the 0 fits more like a 5, but it wouldn't stop me from getting one and having it altered.
Most of all I love that it is a locally owned independent boutique and I love to support our own talent. I bought a bunch of stuff here on the Shop Crawl and I will continue to shop here.
I really enjoyed coming here for the Shop Crawl #4. I found the College St. location to be far less cluttered with less merchandise. It made it easier to go through the racks of clothing and was not as overwhelming.
The clothes here are really trendy and pretty. With all the prettiness however, there comes the price tag. And it's quite steep!
One thing that I do not like at all is their refund policy. Everything was final sale that night. I don't think that any store in Canada should have a no refund policy, they should always allow you to get your money back. Money back guarantee is one of the things that keeps shoppers coming back! *There is a reason why Wal-mart has millions of loyal customers... !
Nonetheless, it's a really cute store. A must visit :)
