This company started in the 1970's with only one store that supplied mostly to restaurants and has now grown into 5 store and one warehouse location.
The variety of produce is huge and the price very economical, for instance I bought cabbage there today at $.38/lb when every where else it was $.99/lb. They carry exotic vegetables and fruits as well as the basics and the staff is super pleasant and helpful. I volunteer for an organization called SMILE-Edmonton and H&W;over the past month has kindly donated cases of vegetables to help us feed the homeless. They are extremely community minded.
