Matthew is the best stylist I have ever had. I started going to him about three years ago and now refuse to go to anyone else. He always listens to the client and does EXACTLY what they are asking him for, as well as being really funny to talk to. He is very accomodating to client's schedules if at all possible, but make sure to book him early because he's so popular!
I highlight my hair blonde and Matthew always takes extra time to make sure the colour is beautiful, not brassy, and doesn't mind taking extra time doing tons of foil highlights whereas other stylists would just dye the whole head. He is very particular about how his clients look and feels that each person who leaves the salon is a reflection of his work. Therefore he always makes sure to style everyone to look their very best before leaving the salon.
If you are looking for a new look, he will also talk to you about what style would suit your face shape and what colour(s) would look best, but for sure he is great at LISTENING to the client who knows exactly what they want. ,Even when I have told him to only cut a little bit off the ends , he listened- which has never happened with any other stylist I have had.
