My favourite place to stay

I visit Southampton regularly and am always looking for a good place to stay with leisure facilities. I always end up coming back to the Holiday Inn time and again. It's a fab location down by the docks so you can look out over the sea, take a ferry across to the Isle of Wight, and it's right next to where all the amazing cruise ships launch from. It's also only a 3-4 minute walk from the Odeon cinema complex, or the Westquay Shopping Centre and Ikea if shopping is your thing. The staff are really friendly, the food is lovely, especially the buffet breakfast, and the hotel itself is modern and recently refurbished. On top of all this, there is a lovely swimming pool, gym, jacuzzi and sauna which are on-site. The only downside is there are no spa treatment facilities, but for the location and pool alone as well as the lovely welcoming atmosphere, it's well worth the visit.
