LOVE IKEA !

My mother and I love getting lost in Ikea and exploring every knook and cranny possible!

From your living room,bedroom, kitchen or playroom they have got EVERYTHING you need!

And for a great price too!

As a new mom from this past August I was SO SURPRISED to see the family room they had set up for families to be able to feed and change their babies , plus they provided us with the diaper too ;)

Food is great and low cost as well!

When the Winnipeg IKEA opened up I was so excited and it was great timing as I needed a bunch of furniture not long after they opened! We were able to find everything we needed, the staff was very helpful if we needed them to be, and the price is right!

The only issue I had was that it's difficult to collect all the items on your own sometimes, especially since we were purchasing a mattress. I recommend if you're doing a big buy with lots of items to bring some friends along to help you out.

IKEA also has a great selection of Swedish treats and foods in the market, and an awesome (and cheap!) restaurant upstairs that's always fun to relax and eat in.

ikea has everything to offer. the food is amazing. The service is great. The products, excellent. There's nothing Ikea doesn't have. The set ups of rooms and kitchens and etc give you a great home ideas. The interior designing is great.

i LOVE IKEA! I unfortunately do not live near one (closest is Vaughn) but that store is amazing!! When I was pregnant (and nesting) we ordered an entire open concept closet unit online, and It all came in pretty quickly! I was really impressed. I also love all the candles and small kitchen accessories at this store

Can a furniture store be your favourite store?

I really love ikea! I never shopped at ikea as a child with my family, but as an adult, I find myself asking people to go shopping with me at ikea, as if it is a department store. What I love about ikea is it's simplicity. You can find great simple furniture that can be used in modern or even classic decors. The price points are great and I love how you can purchase each piece separately, but somehow still have a matching set. MY favourite thing about ikea is that you can purchase a piece of furniture and then go back in a few months or even a year and find furniture with the same finish.

I will be doing up a room for my son soon and I will be purchasing most, if not all of my items from ikea, including bedding and room decor.

I think Ikea is really underrated! Their items are really high quality for a great price, particularly their bedroom furniture! I have purchased multiple dressers, beds and night stands from Ikea and absolutely love them! Though they come in many pieces, they are straightforward to put together. Their designs are sleek and really allow you to personalize your room through your own decorations. I recently learned that they've transitioned from 100% cotton to what they call "Better Cotton" which uses 75% less water to create their textiles. They are all about reducing waste and I love that! They are a one-stop-shop for all your needs. I'm super excited that they are expanding by adding more pick up and order locations beyond the GTA core!

Super magasin de meubles et d'accessoires pour la maison. Le magasin est loin de chez moi et j'y vais quand même plusieurs fois par années. Je recommande.

Love Ikea! There are so many little things that I find at Ikea for the home. Usually I take my kids with me, we have lunch in the cafeteria for super cheap and then head to the bottom floor. There are candles, vases, plants, bins, containers, mirrors, just about everything for the home. We always end up buying a bunch of little things for the girls bedrooms and the rest of the house.
It's fun to browse around the upper floor and check out all the "rooms". It always gives us great ideas. A fun place to eat and shop for a few hours.

Who doesn't like to walk around Ikea? I love to go just for fun and walk around and look at the different rooms they have set up. Then I like to eat at their cafeteria.

When I was younger, I really love their furniture, but as I got older, I'm starting to grow out of it. Again, I find the stuff repetitive with different colors. My bed frame from 10 years ago is still for sale there.

Price used to be good but not I find, for the quality, it is quite expensive. Some items are worth it but some are over priced for what it is. That probably goes with a lot of stores. Ikea is a fun place to shop and walk around, I do buy the little essentials household stuff there.
