Zagat's 2006 rating names Il Fornello in the Top Ten Restaurants for Toronto. The food is good and the prices are very affordable, but it's not top-end in my books. The feel is more like casual chic, great for a nice family dinner or girls' night out. The mushroom salad was To Die For, but I was a little underwhelmed by the pizza we chose.

Even so, good selection, friendly service, and a great choice overall - I recommend it!
