I have been going to this salon for about 4 years now, and never thought to write a review until now, as silly as it may sound.
I cannot say enough good things about this salon. It is such a cozy, friendly, atmosphere, and every time I go in, I feel at home. When my hair is out of whack, I simply call to make an appointment with Dasha, which is my stylist who I just adore, and she always knows what to do to fix me up!
We have changed my hairstyles and colors so many times, and each time comes out better then the last!
She is a stylist who listens to you, she is not pushy, and she is extermely honest. If she knows what I want will look horrible on me, she has no problem letting me know, which I appreciate.
When she went on mat leave, I saw Giuseppe, and he did an awesome job cutting and coloring my hair as well, so that is who I see if Dasha goes on vacation, or if I really need a fix me up and she is unavailable, it's great to know that I have other choices, and that I will still be just as happy. Love this salon! Just got a pretty big change over the weekend, I had hair half way down my back, and I have some plonde highlites throughout, and we colored it dark, did some nice side bangs, and cut it to just below the shoulder. She is my savior!!!

100% thumbs up: This salon was the best hair experience i have had to date. the place is very nice and gives me a great vibe every time i go back. The stylists are well trained and the place is clean 100% of the time. From the very first time i walked in, its been nothing but great service and amazing quality. the prices are very fair for the level of quality offered, i am very happy! my name is Karine and i like to provide information regard jason michael's salon. great staff special Ross the stylist who consulted with me.I been to top salon's and i walk away crying because they messed up my hair. Ross is very professional, he listen,and he recommended what was right for me.I went with very black hair and want to be dark blonde,evry salon refused to do my hair.Ross consulted,he did a strand test to se how my hair will lift.I felt very comfortable with him .got exactly what i wanted for many years.****VERY HAPPY I RECOMMEND ROSS TO ANY ONE WITH SAME PROBLEM***

I was at square one mall killing some time while my car was getting detailed, when i noticed this lady with beautiful long light blonde hair . I approached her to ask if it was natural, and she told me that if i had seen her hair a couple hours prior, i'd be laughing at her instead of giving her compliments. She told me she tried to do her own color on the weekend and made a total mess of it, and she had just walked out of Jason Michael's salon in square one after a two hour colour correction by the owner (Giuseppe) that brought her hair colour back to a very nice blonde level and without any breakage. She was so excited , and when i asked her where the salon was , she took me to the salon to introduce me to him.....After a long consultation , i was convinced , and decided to lighten my hair and also cut it . He proceded by showing me two different strand tests and after using one formula for the roots and a different one for the ends , i had a beautiful light tone shade as well and without using bleach or toner....Simply amazing result, and after the cut and blow dry even better.....As i walked towards the front desk to pay, i realized i never asked how much this would all cost, but i was willing to pay anything because i've never been so happy to walk out of a salon.............I was so surprised , when the receptionist told me the total was only $150.00 plus tax , honestly, i thought it would be way more than that(no complain on my part). The receptionist explained to me that they were having a special promotion and that it would last for the whole year of 2012. I was extatic, took extra business cards to recommend friends, as they also have a referral program that entitles you to get further discounts, and i personally could use some of those.............Thank you Giuseppe, and also your assistant for taking care of me with a wonderful scalp massage..........

I JUST MOVED INTO A NEW CONDO NEAR SQUARE ONE MALL IN MISSISSAUGA AND I WAS VERY ANXIOUS ABOUT GOING TO A NEW SALON. I'VE BEEN GOING TO THE SAME STYLIST IN YORKVILLE FOR THE PAST TEN YEARS ,THUS MAKING IT VERY DIFFICULT FOR ME TO TRUST SOMEONE NEW. I WENT TO TWO SALONS IN THE MALL, EXPLAINED TO THE RECEPTIONISTS MY DILEMMA , AND WALKED OUT OF BOTH WITH A BROCHURE IN HAND, LISTING PRICES AND SERVICES, WHICH I COULD'VE DOWNLOADED MYSELF FROM THEIR RESPECTIVE WEBSITES. FEELING FRUSTRATED I DECIDED TO GO TO TIM HORTONS FOR A COFFEE, AND WHILE WAITING IN THE LONG LINE I NOTICED JASON MICHAEL'S SALON. I WENT IN, TOLD THE RECEPTIONIST ABOUT MY SITUATION,AND INSTEAD OF HANDING ME ANOTHER BROCHURE, SHE ACTUALLY INTRODUCED ME TO A STYLIST,BY THE NAME OF ROSS. HE INVITED ME TO HAVE A TOUR OF THE SALON AND OFFERED A FREE HAIR AND SCALP CONSULTATION . HE COMPLIMENTED MY HAIRCUT AND COLOR, AND ALSO TOLD ME MY HAIR WAS IN GREAT CONDITION. HE DID NOT TRY TO SELL ME ANYTHING , AND HIS HONESTY AND KNOWLEDGE MADE ME FEEL AT EASE. I ASKED HIM IF HE COULD DO A CUT FOR ME , AND EVEN THOUGH HE WAS BOOKED TO GO TO LUNCH, HE SAID HE WOULD. HE GAVE ME A GREAT CUT , AND HE ALSO DID A STRAND TEST TO SHOW ME A HIGHLIGHT TONE THAT WOULD COMPLIMENT MY COLOR. SINCE HIS NEXT CLIENT WAS ALREADY THERE, HE INTRODUCED ME TO ANOTHER STYLIST(CAN'T REMEMBER HIS NAME) , MIXED THE FORMULA AND GAVE HIM INSTRUCTIONS TO FOLLOW. ROSS SET THE TIMING AND CHECKED ON ME SEVERAL TIMES . HE ALSO OFFERED ME A FREE SCALP AND HAIR TREATMENT. IN THE END I WAS HAPPY WITH MY SERVICE AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND JASON MICHAEL'S SALON.

I was recommended here by my best friend, who is muslim, like myself, who just had her color, highlites and cut done at Jason Michaels, in a new private room that they have for ladies only.

She could not stop talking about how pleasant the staff was, and that her stylist, Angela, was just amazing. She said Angela made her a coffee while she had her hair done, gave her magazines, and gave her her full attention, ensuring that her hair would look perfect when she walked out.

I was in earlier today to buy 2 gift certificates for Christmas for my mom and sister, who also wear a headscarf. I spoke with a very nice gentleman named Louis.

He even offered to show me the private area for women, and it looks great!!!!!
He then explained a few popular holiday gift packages, and helped me to make a decision on which ones to buy for my mom and sister.

I am really happy to have found this salon, and i think the fact that they have built a seperate area for women who wear the hijab, is just awesome, and I will definately spread the word, because us ladies know how hard it is to find a nice salon that can accomodate our needs!

The first Salon that actually knows what it's doing! I got a fabulous haircut from Deidre...she's amazing. She knew exactly what she was talking about. She was friendly, informative and factual. She told me exactly what to do and not to do in order to maintain healthy hair. She's really sweet. I initially called in to set up the appointment and spoke to a gentlemen named Louie...he was very friendly and rather humourous. I would recommend Jason Michaels in a heartbeat to anyone. You know you are in good hands there!:D
