Terrible produce

Went grocery shopping and watered was on sale, bought one and a day and a half later I wake up to a good awful smell and liquid all over the floor, at first I thought my puppy had a accident, went to clean it up and it was clear. So I panicked and think the roof is leaking (had bad storms and flooding) looked around and nothing, THEN I see the watermelon, I get it all cleaned up and bagged and in a box. Went to the store and costumer service was nice offered a refund or exchange. We got an exchange bc we wanted the rind for the guinea pigs also. She offered someone from produce to come back and help pick a good one. In the meantime my mom picked out some other fruit. Got everything we wanted and the watermelon exchanged, this was a Thursday, from then to the end of the weekend just about every piece of fruit that was bought either Tuesday or Thursday was rotten. I will NEVER buy produce or already cooked food(always hard and never fresh) ever again
