Great for families

Best family amusement park! Free parking, great food and atmosphere, never crowded, and rides for all ages. Added bonus is tons of shade throughout the park for those hot days.

Great place for the whole family!

Knoebels is a wonderful place to go for a day or a whole week of family fun! We went for the evening after an appointment at Geisinger Hospital (very close by). The evening entry price to Knoebels is cheaper than the daytime entry price, so it is a good idea to wait until the evening to buy ride bracelets.
There are many great things about Knoebels park. It is mostly flat, the food is tasty & reasonably priced, and (best of all) entry into the park is FREE! If you are not riding rides, you can stroll around the park for free while the kids ride.
We arrived shortly before the the evening price applied, so we entered the park (for free) and walked to the pizza place. We ordered a large pizza for less than $20 and it was DELICIOUS New York style pizza. It was perfect for feeding a family of 5 & then it was time to ride. Wrist bands for our three daughters was pretty reasonable for the evening riding, but we told them to ride at least 15 rides to get our money's worth.
Overall, the day was worth the money and it was FAR less expensive than most amusement parks.
