All you can eat Goodness
My hubby introduced me to Korean Grill House when I was pregnant with our daughter. I was hesitant because he said we cook our own food. But when we went I fell in love. You get a good variety of food..from chicken and beef to squid and salmon plus you get a wide variety of sides and endless bowls of rice. I also love their soya sauce...its not salty...its more sweet!! So my daughter is now 9 and we also have a almost 3 yr old boy who both love eating there too!!
Value for Money
Me and my husband were craving for some korean grill resto and found this gem near our place. We had the eat all you can meat that we can grill and everything tastes amazing. the only thing that i would like to add up on the meat all you can menu that they have is a signature korean spicy soup that would give a kick on the tastebuds. servers are very accommodating
I love Korean BBQ. This place is great whether you're in a group or alone. I usually go alone and the food and drinks are fantastic! I'd recommend going for lunch because it's cheaper. The servers are very attentive, always clearing out dirty dishes, bringing you what you need and refilling your water. Ordering is also very simple since you mark down on a slip of paper what you want more of. 10/10 would go again!
when my friend return her iced tea because it taste like water, she saw the server pour her iced tea on the pitcher that they use to refill iced teas. and the server used the other pitcher to give my friend her new iced tea. not so clean. i start to wonder if they re-use food that wasn't consumed.
If you love meat this is the place for you! You order different types of meats (already marinated) and they bring it to you raw. You then have a grill in the middle of your table where you cook it. You will leave smelling like cooked food, but the experience and the food is great. You get your money's worth. It's especially great for groups.
This is a great place to eat if you want a lot of food and if you are a meat lover! This is a grill house where you order off a menu (lamb, beef, pork, etc) and they bring the raw food to you. You then have to cook it yourself (it's already marinated). Every time that I've been there, the service was really efficient. You can keep ordering and asking for things and they will keep bringing without ever getting annoyed. The food is delicious, and you get your money's worth!
My husband and I LOVE the Korean Grill House in Toronto! The all-you-can-eat menu feeds both of us for under $40.00 and it's filling and delicious. You pick your meats and grill them yourself. Wait times can be long on busy weekend suppers though, so pick an off time to go.
Overall, it is a standard Korean BBQ place. However, there are better restaurants out there for a slightly higher choice but better variety and authentic Korean food.
The pieces of meat are thinly sliced - like the ones you get of the from the Chinese supermarket for hotpot. It's not the kind that is marinated well - and authentic. The food is alright, but couldn't you just barbecue it at home? The place is usually jam-packed at night. It is less busy during the day, but they don't change your grilling stove thing when it gets burnt until you ask for it. The quality of service is not that great, even when it is less busy.
For the price of all-you-can eat 13.99 is very attractive, but what are you going to choose - a cheap price or quality for a couple bucks more?
As for the non-all-you can eat menu, lunch is indeed pretty cheap too, if you order the cheapest lunch deal.
This is one of those gotta try it restaraunts!! I've always walked past this establishment and thought "That looks really cool"... Unitll curiosity got the better of me and we finally went to eat at the korean grill house. The concept of this dining experience is the do it yourself grill pit in the middle of your table. We chose the all you can eat PORK, BEEF, CHICKEN, BEEF RIBS, OX TONGUE, OX LIVER, SALMON, SQUID, FISH FILLET menu minus the ox tounge and liver!! It was the ultimate meat eatters feast however the all u can eat part goes out the window after one round of servings beacuse you'll be so full you won't want to risk another bite. I enjoyed this experience with my 9 yr old daughter, who was overly excited to cook her own meal , with me on the sidelines warning her of the dangers of fire!!. With that said I would recommend this for a first date spot (very interactive) or one of those lets try something new for a change kinda nights!!
