Lucy's is a little bakery,located in Hazeldean Shopping Center on 66 Ave and 96 St, here in Edmonton. Lucy was a chemist, when she decided she wanted to open her own bakery (Baking being one of her passion's). She took this grungy old shop, scrubbed it up and expanded it to accomadate her wares. Trust me, she makes the best sausage rolls you have ever tasted ($16.00/dozen) Her donuts and pastries are excellent. , her cookies to die for, over-sized and nutritious. She bakes a variety of breads, from the standard white, to whole wheat to raisin/cinnamon,heese and poppy seed. She has recently started making cakes, decorated with fruit,and a cream icing. These are excellent, not overly sweet. Lovely to look at and even better to eat. Lucy's English is not perfect but she tries so hard, she is always offering you a donut or a turn-over for free. A lovely lady overall and her little shop is kept busy with orders for restaurants and that sort as well as her walk in customers. She has people who drive from one side of town to another, simply to pick up some of her delicious treats. That should tell you how good her product is. Good job Lucy, please never move, we love your shop.
