Quality Clothing
If I were rich, I would spend a fortune in this store, but their prices are high and every now and then I will treat myself. Like yesterday for example, I went into just 'browse' and came out with a black pair of long legged tights and a nice striped mauve and grey colored sweat shirt.
I believe you get what you pay for and their tights are a great example. I have had the same 2 pairs of tights for a couple of years now and they are not faded, haven't lost their shape and look like they are new. I can't say that about other brands I have bought. Same goes with the sweatshirt I bought yesterday, I know it's going to last me for a few years so I look at it as kind of an investment in quality clothing.
The staff are always pleasant and make a point of approaching you and asking if you need assistance. Yesterday I considered buying another top but they didn't have my size left and they offered to order one in online for me, no charge for shipping, but I did have some willpower left in me and declined.
One of my best girl friends ordered a pair of grey capri's online that started to chafe in the inner thigh after a couple of months (which is odd for their clothing), she no longer had her receipt but brought the pair back to the store anyway. They were fantastic to her, they replaced them obviously, apologized a few times and gave her $135.00 store credit and sent her an email 3 days later giving her an online discount on her next order of 40% off any items (inducing sale items),free shipping, and it just had to be used within the year. Whoa, Lululemon went above and beyond, we were all shocked at the extra credit and discount she received, we knew they backed their clothing 100% but never imagined she would get all the extras. I don't know of any other store out there that would give that amount of extra customer service.
Don't get me wrong, lululemon carries some great quality pieces but the prices are heart stopping. If you're going to purchase anything from here be sure it's something you want and will wear because you WILL get your money's worth. I have a pair of black capri leggings that i've owned for 10 years now.... but they did cost $110.
The staff seem to all belong to a cult and have heard some very weird things.... just google it.
I live in lululemon leggings, however they should stop making athletic wear and start making professional, every-day clothing because the texture of their clothing is amazing.
The Lululemon trend is crazy where I live, especially for the sweaters, pants, headbands, and capris!!!! While I agree that the clothes are great for going to the gym and working out, there are kids wearing it for casual wear and teenagers too. I don't think I would spend $100 on yogapants to wear casually unless I really really liked them. I have a couple pink and black headbands from there, but the rest is not my style.
I agree that this merchandise is NICE feeling for the skin...BUT it's soooo expensive. i have the pants...and the bras...and the bags....worth it?? I dunno!!!!! stuff is amazing looking and feeling BUT too merchandize forME!
I really enjoy Lululemon for something fun and fresh, gym clothing-wise. The sales people are very nice and helpful and the store is full of colour, which I just love! I really want to buy one of the very thick yoga/pilates mats. I'm told that they are really good for the joints and your back. I really am not a fan of the prices, but the quality is great. If you purchase something, but use a bag that you already have with you, they give you .50 cents off your purchase price, which is a really nice way of saying thank you for helping the environment. I think all stores should do something like that because it really encourages people to reduce, reuse, and recycle. Lululemon is more than a store, it's a state of mind. A peaceful stat at that.
I think Lululemon is great! It is ridiculously expensive though. What I think is great is how their clothing comes in all kinds of sizes, for example they have pants in TALL length for someone like me who can't ever find pants that are long enough. I think what makes it original is their whole manifesto, promoting health and yoga. In addition, is their corporate responsibility and environmentally concious attitude. If you are looking for nice, fashionable yoga clothes, Luon is the way to go. However, if you're not a fan of clothes that pill, then it may not be for you. The clothing does have a tendency to pull from nails, scratches, etc. Good style, nice colours.
I absolutely adore this store. At first I wondered why anyone would spend so much money on Yoga/Athletic gear but the pants fit and feel amazing when they are on and their hoodies are very cute too. I would definitely recommend this store to anyone. Quality and how the clothing makes you feel when on make this stuff worth every penny!
Lululemon gear is pretty damn great - for comparably priced clothing and accessories, the LL line is much better made. I'm also fond of the fact that they don't vanity size like so many other clothing lines. Complimentary hemming with purchase is also a plus for wee lassies like me.
Lululemon (any location) is an amazing store. While it may seem expensive, the quality of the merchandise makes it well worth it. Their pants look amazing on the butt, they have really nice yoga mats (I bought a thicker one for about $50 that is double sided) and they also have yoga videos, really nice hoodies and tops, guys stuff, and it's just a really great brand.
