Nothing to write home about

I went to Mackage on Monday afternoon to spend the $100 I was sent. I was greeted right away by a friendly sales associate, offering to help me. I did not have anything in mind to buy, and altough I looked at the website before I went, nothing specific caught my eye.

I browsed the accessories, the wallets and purses, hats and scarves and some jackets. I tried on 5 jackets in different colors, styles and sizes. The prices ranged from $600 to $1000 per jacket. Hats were $195, and a scarf was $95, wallets were $200. I ended up buying the Patsy Jacket in black which was $666 with taxes in. The jacket was very flattering and on the thinner side which I liked a lot. They had in black, with leather trim and paprika. I found it too expensive for what it was ( a simple thin jacket made in China) and I am sure I wouldn't have bought it without the $100 incentive.

Overall, the experience in the store was meh, underwhelming...for such a high end store at the top of Eaton Centre, I was expecting much more. The sale associates were friendly and helpful, but it was the same experience I would have gotten at a much lower priced store. I feel that the difference between low end stores and high end stores is the experience you get, since we all know the product doesn't cost 15 more times to make at the high end plce. Here I feel they failed to deliver an orginial, unique and fun experience. Their coats are just ok at best, either very trendy in color and style, or simple classic colors...again nothing special, nothing that you can't find at Zara for example.

I am not sure which target demographic they are hoping to appeal to, but if it is the millenial customer, I don't think they are succeeding, and that they have a long way to go.

I would buy from this store again

The shop was clean and the items were presented nicely. High quality clothing, the jackets seem very nice and durable. I would absolutely recommend taking a trip to Mackage.

Lovely experience at Mackage

I went in to buy a scarf, I wasn't immediately greeted, but as soon as I picked up one of the scarves a saleslady came over and offered to help me pick out a colour. Once I decided, she immediately checked me out in a friendly and quick manner

Great experience

Visited the Toronto Eaton center location. I was immediately greeted and advised of the promotions. Store was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely visit again

The Mackage experience

As part of the Chick advisor program I was given $100 dollars to go spend at Mackage. When I walked into the store I was greeted very quickly. The young woman said hello but then allowed me to browse the store at my leisure. I loved many of the products and it wasn’t hard for me to find things I wanted in my closet. I decided on a scarf in Petal and was walking around with the display scarf. The young woman who greeted me offered to get me a new one from the back and put the display one back in its place. The transaction was quick and the packaging was gorgeous. I almost didn’t want to take it out of the bag because it was packaged so nicely. Overall I had a lovely experience at Mackage. There weren’t many options when it came to spending $100.00. I was willing to put forth a bit more but all of the jackets were $600 and up. It was a bit steep for some of the product. The scarf is beautiful, I love the pattern and the colours. I do wish it was a bit thicker for the cost and that the wool count was a bit higher. I would recommend Mackage to those that have some extra spending money laying around. It was a great experience. The store was in immaculate condition and the atmosphere was posh without being off putting.

Wonderful Service, high quality products

The Mackage store at the Eaton Centre is lovely to shop at. Everything is spread out and it makes the products easy to see. Their products are very high quality. While I usually have purchased Mackage from Holt Renfrew or Aritzia I was excited that they have a stand alone store now! Although there is sometimes a line, it usually moves fast. I think they do it so that they are more one on one with the shoppers. When I got into the store, I was quickly greeted by a lovely Sales Associate when I came in. I had browsed online and knew what I was looking for. She helped me find it and even offered to get a new one out of the back for me, although it was the last one they had in stock. I purchased a super soft scarf for winter and absolutely love it!! Thanks so much for your help!!

Amazing service

Went to the store to use the $100 gift card from ChickAdvisor, and the experience was awesome. Service was amazing and the girl who helped me out gave great advice on which size/fit/style i should choose. Can't wait to wear my coat for the winter! It's super warm and comfortable, i'm really excited.

Dual Purpose ARO Jacquard Scarf

I #gotitfree, well almost free, from Chick Advisor. I chose the Mackage ARO Jacquard Scarf, a cozy knit scarf that comes in a few different colours with that popular arrow design, which I find attractive. Because the scarf is rather large, it can also double as a throw on my neutral coloured couch! I found the scarf to be a bit pricey but it would make a great gift for someone who is hard to buy for.

Unique styles

I loved shopping at Mackage. The staff were super friendly and helpful and there was a large selection of styles and accessories (for both men and women). The staff were also super helpful in educating me on how to care for their products, which I’m often confused with when buying luxury items from other stores. I love the scarf that I purchased, it’s beautiful, warm and easy to style. I will definitely revisit when I’m looking to purchase outerwear again.

Stylish brand fun by friendly people

I love when fall rolls around and Mackage stocks their winter gear. They are one of the best here in Canada for a warm, durable and stylish look all in one. Mackage is all about quality and is always on top of the trends. I just recently bought a scarf that I have had many compliments on. I wear it over my jacket and even sitting at my desk at the office. It’s very versatile and I’m in love 😍 can’t wait to get my jacket next!
