Terrible experience

I was excited to shop at Mackage after being given a $100 gift card by ChickAdvisor. Unfortunately, I didn’t even get to go into the store. I was physically stopped by a security guard outside and asked to wait to go inside the store, even though it was empty. He then allowed 3 other people inside without anyone leaving the store, even though no one had left. A sales associate came to the door and was quite rude. I explained I was taken aback by having the security guard physically put his arm out to stop me (he did not touch me though) and instead of being alologetic and welcoming me into the store, she was dry and rude and blamed it on “store policy”. I expected better customer service from a high-end company, especially when I was prepared to drop $1000 on a new winter jacket. I’ll be spending that money on a different brand elsewhere. How disappointing.

Great service

I generally don't go into stores like Mackage because I often feel either 1. ignored as if I'm not their ideal shopper or 2. overly watched and uncomfortable. My experience was neither. I was greeted upon entering, and the associate helping me made me feel comfortable. She wasn't hovering over me, or selling hard. Rather she was surpsingly patient, helpful and gave me lots of space. She was helping out two other shoppers, so she was quite busy but never forgot to check in with me. Since I was buying an accessory, I didn't need as much attention as someone who was shopping for a jacket.

A pleasant experience, got what I needed

I was chosen for the ChickAdvisor Product Review club which provided a $100 gift voucher to shop at Mackage. My overall experience was good in store. When I went on a Thursday evening, the store was pretty busy. There were quite a few employees helping customers. My sales associate was helpful and answered all my questions. I was able to try on all the jackets I wanted. After my purchase, they did forget to take off the security tag. A bit of an annoying oversight, but nothing crazy.

Trendy items

This service at the store was impeccable. I didn’t spend a lot of time searching for what I was looking for. The sales associate was able to show me a number of items that fit into my price range. I will say if you’re not prepared to spend it least $150 this may not be the store for you as it is a pricey high end retailer. The quality definitely reflects the price you pay. Beautiful Pieces, nice Staff

When I first arrived a store associate at the door greeted me as I entered. There was a few other associates sprinkled around the store helping other customers. The store is really well kept and laid out very nicely, it's easy to navigate and shop in. The store is full of really great pieces, I picked up the ARO extra long jacquard scarf in paprika which is a pretty orange colour. As I grabbed the scarf another associate offered to show me other colours and offered to provide more assistance if I needed. I declined but I like this approach, rather than pushing anything on me, the associates here offered to help to ensure I was satisfied. The cash associate offered to get me the scarf from the back which was still in it's plastic wrapping. Everyone is really nice and my experience was pleasant and quick. Everything was wrapped up nicely and I left with a new Fall staple. I must say, the scarf is beautiful and really recommend it if you're looking for something to keep you warm for the cold winter season. The pieces are a bit pricey but I think the quality is there, looking at the coats and accessories I can tell right away that they are items that will last many years to come. *freeproduct

Great brand!

I've had my Mackage jacket for almost 4 years now and it's still in great condition. I have noticed that the price for the jacket has almost doubled so if you jumped on the bandwagon early, your products really hold their value for resale! In terms of the Mackage store, I came here on Wednesday with the intent of purchasing a scarf. I was greeted when I came in and though I was wearing sweats and UGGs, the sales associate did approach me and showed me all the scarfs I wanted to look at. I ended up purchasing the Alo scarf in Paprika. It's so cozy and similar to other Mackage products, it comes with the warranty. Had a really positive experience shopping here, it was quick and friendly which is all I ask for in a shopping experience.
