A Japanese friend of mine introduced me to this restaurant. She took me there and I instantly fell in love with the place. If you are looking for an authentic eatery that serves Japanese food (not sushi) then I highly suggest going to this place. My Japanese friend even says this is the most authentic she's had in Toronto (she used to live in Japan)

The price is amazing. The times I've eaten there the bill for two people comes to roughly $15.

The service is unbeatable. The food arrives really quickly and the staff is very attentive and always friendly.

There's a wide variety of items such as donburis and udons as well as sides and desserts. If you order the dons or udons you get a choice of a combo for an extra $2 that lets you choose 2 items from the following sides: soup, salad, takosen (2 octopus balls --takoyaki-- between shrimp crackers) or chips (a crispy noodle snack). It's such a good deal!

My favorite thing to order is the curry udon combo with salad and takosen. But, everytime I try something new, I end up loving it. The current menu is great, but I heard they're going to be adding new items soon as well.

I really can't say anything bad about this place! You're missing out if you haven't tried this place :)
