This place is decent but its nothing to phone home about and its really expensive, the only reason I ever go is if I have a coupon and even then getting two ice cream bars for 8$ doesnt seem like much of a bargain for me. Whenever I do go its always busy and the line is out the door and when you get up to the counter they are asking you if u want all these extras and if you have never been there before you have no idea a large majority cost extra money too! For the price of the icecream ill stick to mccdonalds because its just as good to me.
It's an interesting concept using a cold marble counter to mix ice cream and a variety of mixings. I tried it a couple of times with a coupon but it's not something I would pay at full price. Cold Stone Creamery has opened a few locations in Vancouver and they do something similar. Hopefully with competition their prices will come down. I find that a Dairy Queen Blizzard or McDonald Flurry can be just as satisfying if I don't want plain ice cream.
This place is heaven on earth! If you have a sweet tooth you will love this place. There are like 20 different types of ice cream, and then like probably 40 different things that you can add to your ice cream. For example my favorite is cheesecake ice cream, and oreos smushed all up!! sooo good. My best friend likes dark chocolate ice cream and raspberrries. THey have a good selection of fruit and sweeets to add to your ice cream. The only bad thing is the calories and the price. but as a special treat every now and then its WORTH IT!
This place has the best ice cream ever! I absolutely love it. The only problem is that it's a bit pricey but you are paying for the quality. They make new ice cream every day so it's guaranteed fresh. Yummy!!!
I've only been once as it's out of my way. The location I went to was Beach Avenue in Vancouver. They have various places in the Lower Mainland/Metro Vancouver which can be found on their website. They have a coupon in the Entertainment Book which I used for this purchase.
If you have never been to a place like this it's a totally freaky experience. Luckily they have something similar in the US called Cold Stone Creamery.
I visited the Marble Slab Creamery after it was recommended to me by another ChickAdvisor member and I have to say that I was VERY impressed with it! You get to select your flavour of ice cream and then it is spread onto a cold marble slab, you can then select what you like mixed into the ice cream and served to you.
I tried Birthday Cake flavour ice cream with Kit Kat and sprinkles mixed it. If you have a sugar tooth, definitely try this one out! It was glorious! I also tried the cheesecake flavour ice cream with raspberries and graham mixed in and the sweet cream flavour with strawberries mixed in....all of which very VERY yummy!
