    AVOID !!!

Took my puppy here for her shots, etc. During pre-spay appointment, there was a bunch of commotion from the back room when they took my puppy in for blood work (techs yelling for doctor, etc.). I was told that my puppy randomly started throwing up blood. Doctor told me test were urgently needed. I was then handed a bill for $504.25 for a bunch of tests and for them to tell me everything is normal.

I had been with the dog all day at that point and everything was fine. Everything was also fine with the dog following this.

I switched vets immediately. No one at Martin asked why I was switching vets or seemed the least bit concerned when I asked them to forward files to my new vet...interesting I thought.

Dr. Conway seems to have seriously lacked professionalism and judgment in our very sad experience with her, she removed what she said were parts of our mostly indoor cat who was taken from or briefly left our back yard area and whom she had never seen but knew that we were frantically looking for, 3 organs with a spot of fur, no bones, head or anything else apparently found very close to our property and did not tell us. She then took them to her office over the week-end for 'inspection', continuing not let us know of her 'findings' until some 36 hours later, letting us keep on calling authorities, go to shelters, and door to door with hope looking for him as he had been seem recently and been missing only for 4 days. Lana Conway arrived at our doorstep on a Sunday morning (she found him on Friday, he went missing Thursday early a.m.) with cremation and pet loss group materials in hand with her non-professional friend who dislikes cats in tow to tell us that 'they' believed that our beloved cat had been attacked and eaten by a coyote between 5 and 11 p.m. on a busy street in a neighbour's yard where people had been coming and going in the evening. She did not find it necessary to report the suspicious findings to any authorities as suggested by the deceased cat's vet who looked at the remains and found it difficult to see how any identification of organs could be made, other than a small piece of fur as she was the cat's vet and had just seen him and cast doubt on the coyote theory for various reasons. Dr. Conway did not see fit to call us upon finding the remains to see if we wanted her to deal with them or our own vet, removing, keeping and 'inspecting' them without our permission or knowledge, then waiting for 36 hours to tell us, saying at our door that everyone would have to change how they do things now, keep their pets indoors (ours was indoor/back yard and got out) and that cat feces attracts coyotes......
