Masawa is an Ethiopian Restaurant in the heart of Osborne Village. The food is fantastically good, wonderfully cheap and has a great ambiance. The service is unescapably slow, but when you consider they make everything fresh to order, it is definately worth the time waiting. You should budget your time when you go, and expect to wait anywhere from 45 minutes to 1 hour for your food to come on a Friday night. Make sure you order a bottle of Merlot while you wait! Part of the waiting game is what gives Masawa it's charm. And the room is so cozy and warm feeling, that you certainly don't mind.
