Meat (for Dinner) is a restaurant in Edmonton, Alberta, with one of the best selections of slow-cooked pork, brisket, chicken, and sausage in the city. The drinks are divine and might remind you of Lousianna or somewhere similar (mint juleps, boilermakers, etc) and the desserts are surprisingly underrated and delicious (pecan pie with vanilla ice cream, peach cobbler, etc).

But if you like BBQ, then this is a great place to try. Family-style dining means that the seats are close together and that multiple orders will come on one tray. The prices are very reasonable (often around $10 for a half pound of brisket, which is certainly enough). Sides include mac and cheese, coleslaw, garlic fries, and brussel sprouts.

This place always has a line and is always perfect. Go.
