There are two locations for Medulla & Co., one on Avenue Road (used to be Hair on the Avenue) and one on Queen St W. W.. They are both fabulous. The co-owner Luis is amazing. He is a sweetheart and has been highlighting my hair for close to 16 years I think. He is truly the king of blonde and has a heart the size of India.

It is not unusual to see a who's who of Canada in the chair next to you getting their hair done, but the atmosphere is laid back and casual and every stylists is super nice and extremely good at their job. It is a testament to Luis and his co-owner Anthony, that so many of their stylists and colorists have been with them for so many years that they create such a wonderful work environment for their staff.

be forewarned, the prices are not cheap, but you should not expect that when you are literally going to some of the best colorists and hair stylists in the city. Some of the colorists in the salon on Queen St West specializes in unique pastel hair color and the techniques and colors are exquisite. You can book a consultation to talk cost and ideas with them. Follow them on Instagram for some serious hair inspiration and they have an awesome and well curated shop in both locations.

I could not recommend them more. I adore Luis and his team and consider him a friend to me and my hair.
