tasty, easy , love to cook, variety

delivered when promised , colored coded packages of meat under frozen packs, box was insulated, all ingredients in same color coded package as meat, so easy match up. very easy instructions. step by step , telling you what to expect. my only issues ,, i found portions just on the small side, the boneless chicken breast had the filet pulled from it and it was sliced to make two portions. The chicken also had a sticker on it saying that it had been previously frozen so i cooked this up first. I have not continued my subscription but only due to the portion size

    Too expensive

I recently got a coupon for a free box from MissFresh.com. It was good for three meals for two people. I selected my three meals from the options available; two looked really good and one I was excited to give a try. The box arrived and I unpacked the ingredients, all of which were fresh. The ingredients were mostly separated into labelled bags for each meal, and came with little cards for the recipes. The first one was pretty disappointing, there was so much vinegar all I could taste was how sour it was. The second we tried was a pasta which was actually really good. The last one was taco that were good, except for the tortillas which tasted like dusty cardboard. All in all, considering it would have been $65 for the box, which was only three meals, and again, only two portions eat, there's no way it was worth getting, especially for my family of five. Even then, only one of the three meals being good isn't a good ratio for me. I feel I could have gone out and bought the ingredients myself for way cheaper. Having them come portioned out really didn't make any difference in the prep time, it just made for a lot of garbage and plastics going in the recycling.

I do like that there's no commitment, I was able to get my free box then skip the next 6 weeks. Today I finally deactivated my account (you can reactivate anytime). Perhaps if I come across another coupon I'd give it another try purely for the free ingredients.

If you have lots of money, no time to do groceries, and don't mind taking a chance on every meal, then it's for you. But anyone else, I'd recommend just going to the grocery store.
