Worst Service

I don't know where to begin. So much went wrong with hiring these ladies for my wedding day, I wish I followed my gut and kept looking. Let's start with the fact that they are ridiculously expensive. The quality of hair and makeup was not worth the $195 that each girl including myself, had to pay. Not to mention a $190 trial on top of that. The charges were just so excessive. $30 just to clip in any hair extensions and curl them. Extra for lashes and the makeup used, but not worth paying for.
As a client, it is important to listen to what your customer wants. They did not know how to do this. and if you had an opinion, they were quick to tell you your opinion is not good. Very defensive if you didn't like what they did or said. God forbid you speak your mind with these ladies.
The lady that did the hair for my bridal party and myself was a joke. She didn't care to listen to what anyone wanted and she didn't do a job where they were happy with how they looked. The lady doing hair, named Moni, she was one of the rudest people I have even had the displeasure of meeting. As the bride, I did NOT like how she did my hair for the trail. asked her to do it again, got angry about it because "that is what I wanted". Isn't a trail to see what looks good and what doesn't? She did another trail, I was content with the style. On the day of the wedding, the hair looked nothing like it did when i did the last trial. I tell her its not working, she fights me on it. I show her a piece of hair is sticking out and she refuses to see what I see because she is trying to rush through everyone's hair. I was made to think shes so good because she can do all 6 people "fast". Thats not a good thing.
OH, to top it off, makeup left. My wedding festivities re beginning. and Moni is fighting with one of my bridesmaids (after I had paid the ladies in FULL for hair and makeup for ALL the girls) saying she owes her $30 dollars more. so I had to get involved, telling her that Trula had all the money. and she refused to leave until she got that money.
For a business that has "been in business for 30 years and know what we are doing", your customer service ruined my wedding day preparations. I have never been so upset with a hair and makeup service in my life. Dont make the mistake I did.

I booked Montana Bridal Hair and Make-up (The Art of Make-up and Hair) for my wedding. They serve Hamilton, Ontario and surrounding areas. The owner is very "nice" until you have a problem with the service - she made many excuses and was not open to listening to what happened. She really has the act of drawing you in down to an art but then in my experience became very defensive about the people she has working for her when valid problems were reported (i.e. they showed up late to both the trial run and the actual day of, they were rude at times, they made the wedding party and I late for photos so we missed out on a lot of opportunities for that, very stressful experience overall and there were many issues with make up application and listening to individuals basic needs and wants for hair styles). She has many ladies working for her, I am only speaking about 2 of them and my experience dealing with her after the experience which she acted very unprofessional about.
