Going Back to Ming Dynasty China

Mott 32 is an enchanting up-scale restaurant in the heart of Coal Harbour, Vancouver. The interior is decorated with organic entryways - called Moon Gates - that were common components of Scholars' Gardens in China's Ming Dynasty.
The Interior Design team of Joyce Wang incorporated this traditional architectural element into a contemporary context. And it works so well!
We had the Peking Duck with a blend of orange sugar.
