βρωμάει - It Stinks!!!

Driving up and down Central Avenue for decades, I've seen this restaurant sitting on the side of the road. So for the first time, My husband and I decided to try it.

We are a mixed couple. lol. The server attempted to show impartiality but it wasn't a great show.

Calamari, a gyro & a falafel. The only thing that was palatable was the calamari! I have purchased frozen sandwich meat that tasted fresher than the gyro. REALLY! The taste was so artificial that after a bite or two, it was sadly determined that I couldn't eat it. My husband's falafels were so oily that they could've been used as an exfoliating cotton swab! When we attempted to speak with the manager, it took him more than 10 minutes to arrive at our table after the request. And his answer was simply and not directly quoted "no one else complains so eat it."

Seeing there was no getting through to the Mgr. we requested doggy bags but realized that there was NO WAY IN H-E-L-L that we were going to eat that crap and left it on the table for the staff.
