100% OF CHICKS DIG IT
This lip balm comes in a small round metal container. The only thing is you have to dip your finger to apply it. That means I only use it after washing my hands, so I only use it in the bathroom at home and not outside the house. 16 grams last a long time and the balm should be discarded 12 months after opening. It has a nice smell. It's a clear white balm to almost becomes transparent on the lips. Nonetheless it does seem to give a nice finish on the lips. It has an easy to apply waxy texture. It works really well at keeping lips soft. (I live in a very dry climate and wear braces; I do need a product that protects my lips for at least 2 hours after applying it.) It's budget friendly especially when on sale. It contains nice oils although they're not the main ingredients: shea butter, castor oil and almond oil. I wish it would come in stick version!
I love the scent. It reminds me slightly of a batch of warm baked cookies. In addition to smelling great, it's extremely moisturizing and leaves my lips soft for hours. When applied it's super smooth and not sticky. If you're looking for something unscented Nivea also offers that.
My husband got in his stocking for a Christmas the Nivea lip butter in vanilla and macadamia. The Lip butter has shea butter and almond oil in it which provides intensive moisture and long-lasting care. moisturizing formula of NIVEA® Lip ButterTM with Hydra IQ contains shea butter and almond oil and provides intensive moisture and long-lasting care. The aroma of it is heavenly and it also leaves your lips sensationally soft. Not sure what the cost of it is. Whatever the cost it is worth it. My goodness, I put it on last night and it lasted all night long. Wonderful stuff. The only thing I did not like about it is the small twist off tin it came in. I feel funny having to stick my fingers in the butter. I guess I can always use a Qtip to put it on with.
