Oliver & Bonacini Restaurants are taking over Toronto... and I like it! They already own some of the best restaurants in the city including Canoe and Auberge du Pommier and they've recently opened O & B Cafe right in the heart of the Financial District and now Canteen in the Bell Lightbox.

I came here for drinks and dessert with my husband and we were both thought it was great. We only shared a brownie over a glass of wine but the smells from the kitchen were divine. Our neighbours at the next table ordered these fries that I seriously contemplated ordering after we polished off the brownie, but thought better of it. Menu prices are reasonable with a nice selection of pasta, pizza, salads and plenty of healthy options.

We were particularly impressed with the available wine choices. There weren't a lot of options but they chose well. I had a delicious Stimson Merlot from Washington that I couldn't get enough of.

It's a great casual environment with top notch service and a fun vibe. Thumbs up!
