Pales Shoes our cell is a great place to stock up on shoe basics ... Sandals, runners, flip flops, and flats. They also sell heels and wedges but it's a hit or miss in terms of the style. They tend to sell rounded toes instead of more pointy, narrower toes which is what I prefer. But I have purchased a great number of shoes from them in the past ... just lately there hasn't been anything that has peaked my interest. They also have handbags and purses but the quality ... similar to the shoes are mediocre. But the look of some of the bags are actually quite nice and fashionable. Pales has frequent sales which I also like. The also have a loyalty card and they offer coupons several times a year. So you can definitely get some great deals. I typically buy in multiples whenever I find something I like there because their prices when on sale are so reasonable. Their website is pretty good especially if you are American as you can also buy from them online. The descriptions and pictures and the categorization of their shoes are quite detailed and useful. I am looking forward to spring/summer shoe sales!
I really like Payless Shoesource. However, I find it's a hit or miss when it comes to finding something I like. Prices varies I find. Quality is average I would say. Good service overall. I like that it's well organized by show size. You can often get coupons by mail.
The only thing I liked about this store was the excellent customer service that I recieved, other then that I thought the selection sucked for ladies shoes and the prices were high unless something happened to be on sale, which of course was nothing good. Even the kids shoes were overprices with the exception of a few cute pairs of baby shoes.
Great for trendy shoes that I know will only be in style for one season!
I have a "high shoe turnover rate," and this store satisfies my shoe fetish without braking my budget!
Payless is always a good idea. Fun and stylish shoes at decent prices. How can you go wrong with that? I always find something here, whether it be a flip flop, boot, dress shoe, or whatever. It almost always feels like they are having a sale too. Buy one get the second half price, and seasonal sales. Also, I like that the aisles are arranged by sizes not style, so I can go into each store and only look at my size. I wont be disappointed seeing a really cute pair of shoes and then not finding them in my size. You can see what is available to you and it just makes life so much easier.
One problem: I just wish that Payless would offer online shopping to Canada. I think they would gain so many more customers. I really hope that they do it soon, because I am a popular shoe size, and if I can beat the rush at the store I would.
