The online Customer Service is absolutely HORRIFIC!! No answers to questions, ignore e-mails, rude on the phone, the left hand has no idea what the right hand is doing and no one can give you an answer without a phony excuse. Absolute price gauging because of the market. Style Insider program - a complete joke - don't bother waiting for your coupons to ever arrive. This used to be my go-to store because of the great prices (excellent sales) and the customer service is so good in my local store. They have priced themselves out of my market with their prices, quality and attitude.

Refund

They are the only store that can't get it together. They have had my retuned item for over 2 weeks and has still not given me a refund. I have sent emails with no reply on the status of my issue Except one bitchy worker who sent 5 we received your emails in a row.

Buyers should be forced to wear this crap

At one time Penningtons had nice classic clothing, but for about the past five years they’re have gone way down in quality - cheap nasty fabrics, styles either frumpy dumpy or trying but failing dismally to be stylish-ie holes in pants, unhemmed pants, gaping sleeveless tops with cut out holes and hardware at the neckline. Occasionally there is something wearable, but usually there is nothing I would even want to try on. I went there today hoping to find a pretty nightie as a Christmas gift. The only decent one wasn’t really pretty, and there were only 3 of it, in sizes x, 1x, 5x. Sizes are often broken and size not available. The other thing I wanted was a nice red sweater for Christmas. They only had 3 tops available and they were in some sort of cheap shimmery fabric and were very hoaky. Before anything is offered for sale the buyers should be forced to wear those clothes for a week solid - doubtful they could ever feel attractive wearing any of these clothes yet they expect customers to buy it. Oversized women also want to have attractive clothes, and when this sort of crap is all there is available it only makes them more unhappy with themselves. If Penningtons doesn’t pull up their socks they will go out of business.

If your a plus sized lady or not this store has great styles for anyone sized 1x up to 6x (extra large) . I just bought 2 pairs of jeggings on sale (reg 60) for $25.00 each then went through Ebates and got 12% cash back and free shipping for mothers day !! well worth it .

I'm a big fan of their t-shirts and black cotton leggings, two staples I can't live without. I do find the Melissa McCarthy line way overpriced and overrated though for my taste.

I really like shopping at this store. It has a good selection of plus size clothing for women. I have gotten some nice things on sale there. Some of the clothing can be expensive, but the quality of it is good!

Penningtons is one of the only places in canada to source clothes in the higher plus sizes. Unfortunately, over the last few years, the quality has gone very far downhill and their prices have skyrocketed. Their styles can often be very trendy, so it can be difficult to find simple classics you are looking for to promote longevity of your wardrobe. However, they often have pretty decent promotions and their staff are super friendly and helpful.

Another Reitmans group store that only caters to fuddy duddy older 'thin' fats. Reitmans are pretending they cater to thinner customers and snubbing their noses at us fat people who gave them their business. I say we snug 'em right back!

Poor quality, bad fashion, discrimination, everything us plus size belles don't need. Went Old Navy, haven't been back since. Yeah they might shuffle us to the 'online' store, but at least they offer free returns and have clothes for people younger than 60.

Hi, I went into the Pennington clothing store the other day and was totally dismayed. They no longer carry the extra large bras. I used to be able to get them there, but they no longer carry the "larger" sizes now. I also noticed that their clothing selection was not nearly as impressive as it used to be and the prices for articles seem to have sky-rocketed over the past year. Unfortunately, totally not impressed with this store any longer.
