Pookie's is one of our big favourite restaurant in the city!
Super clean, delicious, real food. The best fried rice in the city for sure! I always order the number 33, don't remember the name but is shrimp, with curry, coconut milk and pineapple, they made it for me in mild and I can't stop eating that! My husband always ask the duck curry, super hot for him, they are so good!!! Their lemongrass tea is my son's favourite, I'm very pleased, since we don't drink pop.
The toilet is always immaculate, friendly staff, good service.
My advice would be call for reserve, weekends are always busy, it's a small place and quite affordable for the amazing quality of their food.
The place is small, for younger children it can be boring, I always take the iPad and we can finish the dinner in a very comfortable way, but you know your children.
They have take out service too.
