Very surprised and disappointed at the poor service and communication I received at Pretty in the City. When I raised my concern about not wanting the result to be too dark, the artist brushed off my concern, and did not even seem to want to discuss colour choices. My brows came out incredibly dark, way darker than what I was wanting. I had also asked if it was possible to have some of the strokes arched, she answered in the affirmative ("most of my strokes are curved anyway"), and then gave me strokes that were simply straight on the diagonal. When I emailed her about this the following day, she then said my brows were too thin and that curving the strokes would make them look unnatural. I asked why she didn't just tell me that when I requested arched strokes, but replied in the affirmative instead. She didn't reply to this. Weeks later, my brows were still way too dark, I had to spend time and money elsewhere to get them lightened. I will definitely not be going back.
