The staff and members are very friendly, and there are lots of oppurtunities for community involvement. They have great registration packages for big families. That is how my family purchased our membership, but they are a little more pricy for individual memberships. They have an indoor track, cardio and weights, as well as fitness and yoga classes. The pool is well maintained. It is perfect for a family, especially with young kids. The only negatives I would find is the hours. While they do open at 5 on most weekdays, they close early (dependant on the weekday), and have very few weekend hours. I eventually switched gyms because I found a better price elsewhere, but I do miss the atmosphere and variety of work out options that the YMCA offers.
