Visited crave salon about a month ago for a simple cut and blowdry. I typically go to a higher end salon but was tired of paying a premium for the salon name so I thought I would give this salon a try. I was completely wrong. From the minute I walked in ..I was barely greeted... Set up at a wash station and given the worst wash of my life ( soap never touched my scalp) these are all things I could get over, as long as the hair cut turned out. I had my hair cut by Sandra who was not all that pleasant.. She also did not listen to anything I had to say about the way I wanted my hair cut / styled. My previous cut as I said is simple and I had it cut approximately 3 months prior to this appointment, so I was really just going to maintain and freshen up what I already had. I had never seen a hairdresser cut hair like Sandra did. She was not systematic buy rather all over the place. Again I wasn't worried too much as long as the end result was what I was looking for. She did not know how to style my hair and to give me more volume she teased it( really ? ) it felt and looked terrible. So terrible I went to my regular salon to have them fix her mistake and I've ended up with about half the amount of hair I started with. Sandra's cut was lopsided and she thinned out my hair making it frayed and frizzy. Beware !!!

I visited this place on 9-3-2013 for cut and color. My stylist was Jerry. Upon arriving home, I checked my hair and noticed, that it was noticeably uneven. I seriously debated calling or going back,as I was thinking, if they can't get it right the first time, how can you have confidence to trust that the 2nd time, is gonna be the charm? Didn't want to ruin my hair more. But after more thought, I decided to be optimistic,heck everyone is entitled to have a bad day right? and I did spend 100.00 dollars. So I call, and am asked to go back on 9-6-2013. Well, of course, when I get home, I did a more thorough "inspection". Still, hair is uneven, not blended in, not even balanced. Then that's when I see some gray hairs, that were supposed to be colored over, pop out at me! It was too late to call them, as it was past their business hours. I look them up on facebook, leave a message, "not a nasty one". Next morning, I go to their facbook page to see if they had written a reply back to me. Negative! Furthermore, my post/comment to Salon Crave was deleted and any options to send a message to Salon Crave, had "mysteriously vanished". I am really disappointed! If Salon Crave, (or any business for that matter). Believes in their product, they should at the very least, get in touch with their clients to try and make it right. I did leave my full name and the dates I visited. Deleting posts from clients, without even discussing the matter or trying to find a solution, speaks volumes. Not only do they not give good hair service, their customer service lacks as well!!

Went to this salon for a new look and change. I was very happy! I was referred by a friend and also read reviews online. Great friendly people as well!

I went to this salon after seeing all the glowing reviews posted online. I can only comment on a cut since that is all I had done, but it was mediocre at best, I could have gotten the same thing at any First Choice hair place. I found the staff very friendly and wanted to write a good review but my hair cut just wasn't that good.

This place is a bit pricey, but they staff is all very friendly and take their time when cutting your hair. They actually have good listening skills compared to other hairdressers who do as they please and not what the customer wants. The salon is small and simple no fuss and nothing very fancy my only complaint is that its a little costly around 45$ and more if you pay with credit card. But overall I was very pleased with my haircut.

I recently went to Salon Crave after reading many reviews. I went to see Dino for my color and cut. He was great. I have never been happier! I have been using Chick Advisor for a while for tips with make up hair etc and have trusted their reviews. Though this is my first. I decided to go see Dino even after a recently poor review. I am glad I did. I guess you can't please us all. Ladies this place is great! My friend also came with me and was also very happy. The only negative thing I can say is that it took me 3 weeks to book a Saturday appointment and that was because he had a cancellation. He does knows his stuff! He took enough time to consult with me and we came up with a plan. Witch is something I suggest. Tell the receptionist to book a little extra time if your not sure what you want. This way time is not an issue.

It was about a month ago I reviewed this website and decided to check out Salon Crave based on all the positive comments I had read. As suggested, I booked an appointment with the talented Dino everyone had been raving about. I have never been so upset over a hair cut in my entire life! Here goes my rant - To start, he didn't bother applying any oil based product on my forehead etc. before applying the color. I walked out of that place looking like some child had been playing arts and crafts all along, what was once, my hair line. It is quite obvious he is not very confident styling womens hair as it was still damp when he started to iron my hair flat to my head. But all of this could have been ignored, really, if the hair cut had been half decent; but surprise surprise my hair is so butchered now that after 10 years of having long hair, I will have to chop it off and wait for it to grow back. My advice...make sure the comments you are reviewing are not some long time clients that just can't get enough of the same thing, or even better, the hair dressers bestest buddies giving the poor guy a helping hand. Thanks a million Salon Crave.

Following the reviews on this site, I went in and had a haircut with Sandra. She was great: really listened, cut well, and gave me styling tips. I have thick, wavy hair that isn't easy to cut. Sandra recommended a style that would work with my hair's natural tendencies and I was really pleased with the results. As others have noted, the staff didn't try to sell me high-priced styling products. I highly recommend this salon!
