The first time I went to Salon Ribal was just for a hair styling. I loved it! Not only do they massage your head while you're at the sink, which that alone feels amazing, but the finished product is wonderful. My hairdresser was Stefania, and since then, I made it a habit of going every week. I love the feeling of familiarity in that salon. They make me feel comfortable and special. Now, I bring my daughter and my husband too. I've adopted this salon for all my aesthetic needs. My daughter laser various parts, along with special massages for my husband and I. They offer a wide variety of services. Most of my friends and relatives use their services and are very pleased with them. You gotta try it!!!!

I found this place to be a little hit and miss. The first time I went in I wasn't very impressed. The staff wasn't very warm or welcoming, and were very quiet most of the time, which is different from what I'm used to in a hair salon.
I went and got my hair cut here once (sadly I can't remember the name of the guy that had cut it.), and don't plan on going back for their hair services. I was not impressed at all with the job that was done. He asked if I wanted him to add some volume to my hair by cutting it a certain way, and I agreed to it. I came out looking like my hair was butchered in the back. It was all uneven and no matter how I styled it one little peice in the back stuck out weird. I had gone to a hair dresser I trusted back in Winnipeg a couple of weeks later, and she agreed that he did a horrible job (thankfully she was able to fix it up!).
The second time I was here I skipped their hair services and went for an eyebrow wax. This I was happy with. The woman was very nice and I think did a great job. She asked a couple of times throughout the service if I liked the shape of my brows, instead of just going at it and doing whatever she wanted.
I would probably go back again... I'd like to give their nail services a try, and i was happy with my eyebrows. I may go for my hair again, but with a different hair dresser.
