    What a delight to have a store like this in Toronto, where everything often seems repetitive and boring with chains whereever you go. This is a cool store with awesome funky fashion forward merchandise and a good variety. I found a number of shoes that were different than what I'd seen elsewhere and the service I received was excellent! Apparently, it is a small family owned business and that element really shows.. They seem to care about the service and took a great deal of time to discuss options with me and my hard to fit feet. I would DEFINITELY go back and would HIGHLY recommend this cute little Queen Street store. So happy to have found it!!

    BAD QUALITY BAD SERVICE!!

    I purchased a pair of boots from Scarpino on Queens St W. on the . On my Birthday-19th of October, I went out for dinner with my boyfriend and the heel of the one of the boots came off; I fell and was extremely lucky not to do any serious damage. I was trapped in the boots for the remainder of the celebration I was passing the store on the 20th of October, so I told the manager what had happened the previous evening. The manager asked me to bring the boots into the store and advised me that she would look at them and decide how to proceed. I attempted to return the boots on several occasions but I was advised the manager was away and none of the shop assistants could do anything to assist me? I was promised a supervisor would call me that Saturday but no call came. I carried the boots to work every day, dropping by the store on my lunch-break, hoping that someone could help me.

    The manager returned on the Tuesday, I returned the boots and requested a replacement, the manager advised me that she would have them repaired and if I was dissatisfied I could have a replacement, tired of the whole situation, I agreed. The boots were to be ready in one week and I would be called and kept updated, but no call came. I dropped into the store on November 1st to inquire after my boots and I was advised a call would be made to a supervisor to have them collected and they would be ready at 5pm that day. I returned at 5pm, still no boots.

    I called the store on the 3rd of November and was asked to call back by the manager as a sale was being rung through register and she was distracted. I called back and, in the presence of my work colleagues, inquired about the boots. I was advised that my boots had not been collected from the repair shop. The manager was very short with me and impatiently asked for my shoe size and I was then told that she had none left in my size. I asked for a refund and I was told it was not shop policy, I asked why I had not been offered a replacement originally and I was told it was not shop policy. When I contested the acceptance of a credit note due to the nature of my complaint and the way I’d been treated, the manager hung up on me, embarrassing me in front of several of my co-workers;

    In response to a letter I sent for the attention of the owner. I received a call from the store manager this afternoon, who blatantly lied and claimed she had not hung up the phone and that I had not requested a repair, even though I still have the receipt for the repair and several witnesses to the call. At this stage Ive given up on Scarpino for ever!

    This is a terrible reflection on Canadian customer service Isn't it time they all payed by the same rules!!!!

    I have to say that I have always liked Scarpino for shoes...the prime reason being that they carry my size in boots (5) which I otherwise have a hard time finding! I was very happy that Scarpino was participating in the Shop Crawl so I could expose more of my girlfriends to this store all in one shopping trip!

    I shopped here at the 2nd ChickAdvisor Shop Crawl and left with some beautiful flats and stylish boots. I was pleasantly surprised at the prices, and probably would have made the same purchases even without the fabulous discounts offered that night. The selection is small, but I liked almost everything I saw. The men's selection was nice as well, mostly conservative but also a few Euro-inspired styles. I will definitely shop here again!
