Products bought cod to be paid for at the catalogue store- when I tried to return them, they "had no money",
And handed me a hand written scrap of paper saying this is your IOU. 3days later they called to say they had my $300 and told me to get a sears credit card to solve this problem! I called the sears head office, they agreed this is how the local stores in smaller cities30,000(mine) is done- and to get a credit card to solve " my issue".
NOT IMPRESSED!

I could write a book on this place... but to tell you the truth, it wouldn't be worth my time. Nothing but disastrous experiences with them when it comes to their major appliances... I bought my fridge, stove, washer and dryer from them... and bought into their 'extended warranty' crap, I paid hundreds of dollars for the warranties... and the stuff started having problems within months of owning it...I will never buy another one from them again. Did I mention they dropped my washer when delivering it and I had to wait and be shipped another one?! Not to mention the fact that they have some of the most ignorant repair men in the business... just ugh!

We recently purchased a new bed through Sears at Kildonan Place in Winnipeg, the sales lady (who earns commission) was very friendly and courteous and not pushy at all. We told her our price range and she helped us stay well within it. She was also very patient too, we had our three children (3 years and younger) in tow!

I was quite impressed with the overall experience and would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to buy a new bed, go see Diana Smith! She was wonderful!!

The one thing I can say I wasn't very impressed with though was the delivery, it took 10 days to get it, and the delivery drivers were not very professional!

I cannot stand shopping at Sears! Not only do I find the store over priced, but I find it to have horrible service. I can never find a sales associate, and the cash registers are all over the place. Then, once you actually find a cash register - there is no one around there to help. Plus, they have like 3 carts for the entire store. UGH!

I like Sears and find lots of great deals and bargains. I am a very frugal chick, and I love to save money, so I watch Sears Outlet website daily for the daily door crashers and other reduced price items. I have scored some amazing finds on this site. I have shopped Sears for years, a big part of Christmas in my house now for my kids and when I was a kid also, was the day the Wish Book arrived. I have some wonderful memories, making my lists for Santa, and then watching my kids excitement making theirs. Sears has been in my family for a long time. Thank You Sears !!

I am not a fan of Sears. I find their prices are rediculousley high for the same crap you can buy at any wal mart. I also find their selections minimal and have never once been asked if i needed any assistance by any of the staff.

I went to sears in peterborough ontario canada on friday night to buy boots for my son and it was absolutley horrible. The girls in the shoe section did not once ask us if we needed help (there were 4 of them at one point standing around chatting) and when we approached them for help they seemed annoyed that we were asking for help. I filed a complaint in store and will be following up on my complaint tomorrow.
